K-pop's most anticipated newcomer of the year, SM Entertainment's super boy band EXO makes their debut with the mini-album MAMA. Already well known to fans thanks to an extensive debut teaser campaign, the 12-member group is divided into EXO-K and EXO-M, and will storm the Korean and Chinese music markets simultaneously with Korean and Mandarin albums. K-pop subgroup EXO-K is formed by Se Hun, Chan Yeol, Su Ho, Baek Hyun, Kai, and D.O., while Mando-pop subgroup EXO-M is formed by Tao, Lay, Xiu Min, Lu Han, Kris, and Chen. EXO-K's debut mini-album features six tracks including the Korean versions of title song MAMA and their two previously unveiled "prologue" singles, the ballad What Is Love and dance number History.
